Born in Virginia and raised in Washington, D.C., Martha High is a living legend from the golden age of soul and funk. After starting her career in the 1960s with the vocal group The Jewels, she was recruited by James Brown, performing at his side for more than three decades as his primary backing vocalist and trusted collaborator through historic milestones such as the famed 1968 Boston Garden show. Later, she toured extensively with saxophonist Maceo Parker and spearheaded an acclaimed solo career highlighted by albums like Singing for the Good Times. With an electrifying stage presence and an enduring vocal power, High embodies the authentic spirit of classic soul and funk.

Jake Calypso Trio
Hailing from northern France, Jake Calypso Trio is fronted by Hervé Loison, a tireless veteran of the European rock'n'roll and rockabilly scene with over four decades of stage experience. After fronting acclaimed retro outfits like The Corals and Hot Chickens, Loison launched this project to explore the rawest and most primitive roots of 1950s American music. Backed by upright bass and drums, the trio delivers a vibrant repertoire merging swampy rhythm and blues, southern gospel, and explosive boogie, captured on recordings made at Memphis's legendary Sun Studio. Pure analogue grit and relentless live energy.

Dabadaba se encuentra en el barrio de Egia en Donostia, junto a Tabakalera. Si vienes de fuera, estamos a 5 minutos de las estaciones centrales de autobuses y de Renfe.
