Prison Affair

A trio from Barcelona formed in 2018, Prison Affair are one of the most prominent names in international egg punk. Their sound blends heavily distorted guitars with near-synth effects, picked-apart bass, surgical drum precision, and saturated vocals that swing between shrieking and deep, menacing reverb. Fast, chaotic, and deliberately absurd, they draw from the most idiotic and irreverent Spanish punk of the 80s and North American devocore. A string of demos and a split with Snooper (2024) have launched them onto international circuits — pocket punk that gets in your ears and won't let go.

Barrrk

Barrrk is a high-energy band formed between Orozko, Llodio, Bilbao, and Málaga that has shaken up the Basque underground scene with their self-described "dog music". Fronted by the commanding vocal presence of Yasmin Quesnel, the quartet blends the raw urgency of post-punk with danceable indie-pop hooks and razor-sharp guitar dynamics. Following their explosive live debut and the release of their debut EP, Walking About (2025), the group took home the Harrobia Award at the Gaztea Maketa Lehiaketa competition. Their fierce, infectious stage presence has quickly propelled them to major festivals such as Bilbao BBK Live.
